I had never been a poor college student until Bush decided to #~(^ up the economy by taking us into this stupid war with Iraq, which I think should have been over by now – so much for showing hegemonic prowess! Regardless, most recent graduates don’t have jobs, and if they do it’s probably the same they had in high school or their first year in college. To top everything off, prices are up and paychecks are down. I can’t afford electricity or phone or cooking gas, much less groceries, or rent. This really sucks. Every week I find myself trying to juggle more bills that I am not getting an income to pay, because in 4 months the only job I’ve managed to find is only for 2 weeks, and that’s just going to pay part of the rent. If I stop blogging, you know it’s ’cause I no longer have electricity or phone.
