Well, Milton Friedman say we are “Free to choose.” Of course, he is talking about the market, and I believe that everything in modern society follows that market parameters of preferences and choices. However, how would one choose between to things that are strictly preferred, and yet incomparable thus making each other strictly preferred to the other? Do you just take them both home? I don’t think he has an answer for that.
So, who would one choose between the right man, the perfect man and the dream man? Now, economics never had to deal with that question! Some can give me a cost-benefit analysis???
