… at least not for the wrong ones.

So, there’s a lot on my mind since a few weeks ago. I have been seriously think about the future. And by that I don’t mean 10 years from now, but 10 months ago, when I may have passed up on something great. Hopefully it’s still there. Anyway, I have been thinking about law schools, etc. (More below.) And I have been thinking of what I want to do with my life, and who means what, and what means anything. I have been prioritizing — for a change. Truth is… now that I am graduating, I can admit that life happens in the now. And for now, I am seriously trying to stop being a complete control freak (for an example click on the link). I am listening to my heart a lot more, and it’s quite a nice change.

So, today I actually wrote the whole of a paper due on Monday. That’s a real accomplishment. Ususally that takes place about 5 min before it’s due; so that’d have been 6:25. Anyway, it is now done. And if I keep this up for another few weeks I may be able to spend some quality time with some important people.

So, I have picked some law schools to apply to. Here’s the list (in no particular order, except for #1):

  • University of Chicago
  • Boston University
  • Georgetown University
  • University of Notre Dame
  • Seattle University
  • University of Virginia
  • That’s the list for now. I’ll see whether there’s another place I am interested in later. Not much time to decide later, but I am not even sure that I am not going to defer for at least one year. I think that would be good.
