Minorities complain all the time that their wishes and needs are neglected. But how are they not to be if no one stands up and makes them clear for all. It’s not enough to complain to one another. One must take a stand, and bring one’s issue unto those who can make changes.
When Columbus decided to go in search of a new route to the far east, he didn’t go to the shipbuilders; he went straight to the Crown, those who could send him. Portugal turned him down, and he just went next door. How different would history have been if he hadn’t taken the right path.
Those who will, find a way. The others forsake the pages of history.
